Online Marketing is the Future

March 13th, 2008 by Mariah

To all my members,

As we all know online advertising networks such as our online community at TheInnkeeper.com Bed and Breakfast Guide has proven to be very effective in building brand awareness and generating demand for online Travel.

The most interesting part about this is that spending on Internet marketing is expected to grow 13.4% in 2008, but, that will only add up to 7.2% of the total amount spent on all U.S. advertising, which is expected to hit $153.7 billion.

This means that of all the advertising platforms, the Internet is one of the few on an upward trend. So, I am thinking that we are going to see a lot of growth and that the advertising landscape will be undergoing a major transformation.

New media is growing at a fast pace, and other digital technology to reach our viewers to bring you the reservations.

So, we here at TheInnkeeper.com will be working hard to make sure that all of you Bed and Breakfast owners and Innkeepers we be part of this online Growth.

Sincerely,

Mariah Morris CEO

Properties with Reviews get the Bookings

March 6th, 2008 by Mariah

Based on current studies, personal reviews left for properties in the travel industry get the bookings before an accomodation that does not. This is so important because it provides the viewer with a personal connection from an individual as well as reassurance in what kind of experience they can expect. TheInnkeeper.com is pleased to see more and more reviews being posted by travelers staying at Bed and Breakfasts and Country Inns. Below are some of our members that have just been left great reviews.

The Crown Hotel in Inverness Florida, the Central West Region

Hound and Hare Bed and Breakfast in Ithaca New York, located in the Finger Lakes Region

21 East Battery Bed and Breakfast in Charleston South Carolina, in the region of Greater Charleston South Carolina

The Waldon House in Toronto Ontario Canada

Thank you for all the great reviews and many thanks to the Innkeepers that are providing outstanding accomodations and hospitality.

Sincerely, Mariah Morris CEO
