Haan’s 1830 Inn is an early Greek Revival home

with nine unique guest rooms beautifully appointed with fine antiques, many guest amenities and

period Island touches. The Inn has been run by three generations of the Haan family, since 1980.

Once the private residence of Colonel Preston,

one of the last officers at Fort Mackinac and first Mayor of the Island at the turn of the 1900′s,

Haan’s 1830 Inn has been completely restored to share its warmth as a family home.

Relax on our wicker-filled porches, watch the ferries and yachts in the distance – coming and going in the harbor, and listen to the peaceful cadence of the horses as taxis and liveries pass by.
