Abigail’s Bed & Breakfast Inn

Abigail’s is one of the premier bed and breakfasts located in quaint Ashland, Oregon. Built in 1904 the house offers original Craftsman details, comfortable period-appointed rooms, colorful gardens and a relaxing front porch. Abigail’s is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Ashland, providing easy access to all of what Ashland has to offer; boutique shopping, restaurants, the theaters of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Lithia Park and Ashland Creek. Southern Oregon University is a short drive from the inn.

Abigail’s was known as the Hersey House Inn for over twenty-five years. The house was built in 1904 for William and Ella Breeden. In 1916, James and Carrie Hersey purchased the house and five generations of their family lived in it until the house was sold in 1974. The house was restored and converted into a bed and breakfast in 1984 by sisters Lynn Savage and Gail Orel
