Bed and Breakfast at Laurel Ridge
A wooded drive will bring you to Laurel Ridge, located on 26 forested acres. It borders the Rocky River with a large stand of Mountain Laurel, walking trail and an English country garden. The timber framed house has exposed beams throughout. It features the Rose Suite, an elegant master suite with a Jacuzzi and balcony overlooking the river. Smaller but equally elegant rooms such as the Jewel Room and the Pine Room are also available. Nestled in the Mountain Laurel, next to the main house, sits the Carolina Cottage featuring a Jacuzzi and a river view from the screen porch. The cottage is wheelchair accessible including the shower.
Laurel Ridge is owned and operated by David Simmons and his wife, Lisa Reynolds. David is a professional chef with 27 years of experience. He prepares a full gourmet breakfast each morning to excite your taste buds using locally grown and organic products whenever possible. Breakfast includes fresh squeezed juices, local specialty roasted coffees, creative soufflés, homemade sausages, breads baked daily or Dave’s version of Huevos Rancheros.
