Historic Kuebler Waldrip House Bed and Breakfast

Comfortably located on 43 peaceful acres just minutes from Gruene and New Braunfels Texas is the Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast. Once you enter the property, you may hear the birds, see other wildlife and see a great view of the property. Guests can enjoy  GREAT FOOD, GREAT FUN AND TEXAS HOSPITALITY.

Guests can choose from 10 comfortable rooms, each one different from the rest, and they are located in 3 beautifully restored buildings: the Historic Kuebler Waldrip House building, an original 1847 German rock and cedar beam pioneer home, the Historic Danville Schoolhouse, an original 1863 historic one-room schoolhouse, and the Deer Haven Cottage is a new unit with 3 bedrooms, a bath with a marble shower and Jacuzzi, living room and kitchen. We are located just 2-6 minutes from Gruene, Gruene Hall, New Braunfels, San Marcos and 30 minutes from San Antonio (the Alamo, Sea World, Fiesta Texas and the River Walk).

OUR LARGE HOT BREAKFAST may include egg dishes, fresh fruit, fresh meat, potatoes dishes or homemade tamales, fresh breads, juice and hot coffee or tea. Breakfast is served from 9 AM to 11 AM with hot coffee and tea beginning at 7 am. Please advise of any dietary needs (sugar, gluten or other).

PET FRIENDLY ROOM: Deer Haven Cottage is our pet friendly building, and it is a one-story building that is separate from the main Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. It has tile floors, three bedrooms, a living room, a wonderful large bath with a marble shower and Jacuzzi tub, a full kitchen and a covered porch. There is room to spread out that is perfect for 2 (with or without pets), or a family of 3, 4 or 5 people. Pet fees:  add $20 per pet per night. Limits: (30 lbs. or less and limit of 2 pets). The charges are the same as boarding fees at a local clinic.

ROOM NAMES – Guests can choose from our 10 rooms: Deer Haven Cottage, Kuebler’s Kastle, Hillside Hideaway, Guilbeau Room, Katherine’s Attic, Room with A View, East Room, West Room, the Danville School Suite or the Porch Room. The owners have come up with these names to create a variety of rooms and each room is different from the rest. This includes the difference in the room rates depending on size and the included amenities.

ROOM NIGHTLY rentals are by the room, (this does NOT apply to group rentals). Group rentals (2 or more rooms) require pre-arrangements and deposits. Groups are welcome to rent part or all of a building. Nightly room rates are based on 2 per room, and prices range from ($135.00-$450.00 + tax).
