The Cliff House at Pikes Peak

Travel + Leisure Magazine “Top 100 Hotel of the World” 2006.
The Cliff House at Pikes Peak is a 19th century landmark that has been reborn as Colorado’s premier luxury Inn. Since 1874, such moguls and notables as Teddy Roosevelt, Thomas Edison, Clark Gable, Henry Ford, Buffalo Bill, and P.T. Barnum stayed at The Inn. Today, after a $10million renovation, it’s a landmark again. Featured in the James Beard Restaurant Directory, listed among the Historic Hotels of the Rockies, and listed in the National Register of Historic Places, it caters to guests with 19th century charm and 21st century technology.

Each of the 57 individual rooms offers something completely different. Each room has been artistically decorated, incorporating Victorian style and ambiance while offering amenities expected in a luxurious first-class boutique hotel.

The Cliff House is located in Manitou Springs at the base of Pikes Peak. It’s adjacent to Colorado Springs, 70 miles south of Denver and it is steps away from Manitou’s downtown historic district, a thriving art community featuring talented local artisans and nine local mineral springs. It’s only 30 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport and includes year around access to attractions including Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
